Composition - General

  • For musicians with no experience in composing or beginning composers
  • 60 minutes per week
  • Learn composition techniques with focus on classical chamber / choral arrangements
  • Optimal track for learning film / video game scoring
  • Potential students must have access to Music Notation Software (Musescore, Finale, Dorico, etc.) and/or a Digital Audio Workstation (Garageband, Ableton, Reaper, etc.)
  • Develop compositional craft through analysis, exercises, and projects

Composition - Songwriting

  • For musicians with no experience in composing or beginning composers
  • 60 minutes per week
  • Learn composition techniques with focus on songwriting / musical theater
  • Potential students must have access to Music Notation Software (Musescore, Finale, Dorico, etc.) and/or Digital Audio Workstation (Garageband, Ableton, Reaper, etc.)
  • Develop compositional craft through analysis, exercises, and projects

Beginning/Intermediate Clarinet/Saxophone

  • No knowledge of music theory required - For adolescents and adults
  • Students will provide their own instrument and materials
  • 30 or 60 minute lessons per week
  • Build strong musical foundation and develop musicianship/technique through etudes and repertoire

Beginning/Intermediate Piano

  • No knowledge of music theory required - For adolescents and adults
  • Students will provide their own instrument and materials
  • 30 or 60 minute lessons per week
